ASHKOLGRA Pasture Poultry Farm, operated by Max Hamilton, I , with the help of children and grandchildren am raising kiko goats and Dorper Katahdin  organically for meat , on pasture supplemented with all natural  feed with no antibiotics or hormones in  Madison County.  We are adding beef cattle (Wagu Crossbred) to our farm in Madison County, Texas.   Chicken, pork and beef are processed in a USDA plant.  Our goal is growing goat, lamb and beef in an environment outside where they can live more normal “ livestock“ lives eating bruxh,  grass and enjoying the sun and rain.

From the Farm to the Fork” is the heart of our systems.  We are growing chickens, hogs, lamb and goat organically and delivering to our clients, no middle-man. Moving our livestock to different pastures, provides fresh pasture daily to our livestock.  Pasture systems produce a very high quality product which is lower in fat and calories but higher in key vitamins such as Beta-carotene and Vitamin E.  This is a wholesome food grown in harmony with Mother Nature, which contains Two to Six times more of the “Good” fats such as omega-3 fatty acid.

We can achieve our goals with a background of 27 years of restaurant management; a life time of farm and ranch experience and an Agriculture Education Degree from Texas A&M University.  Producing sustainable agriculture from a family farm that Celia’s Great Grandfather farmed and raised cattle on is an accomplishment in itself.  Family is really important to us and is how we chose our farm name, ASHKOLGRA Pasture Poultry Farm, by using the first three letters of our first three grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kolby, Grayson.  Our three children, their spouses and our five grandchildren have made a tremendous contribution to building our business.
